Leaders/Advisors will announce each girl's name as she
bridges.
Remember that we love you ALL ...but this IS NOT a Court
of Awards Ceremony for your troop...You will announce
the girl's name and she will bridge...the end...please
do not bring individual awards for each of your
girls....The Service Unit will have a little something
(probably a flower) to commemorate the event.

Notes |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
Girl of the
Year |
It may be
difficult to choose the Girl of the Year.
So to make it a bit easier, you can download a monthly
certificate to recognize a Girl of the Month (larger
troops can select more than one girl per month).
Certificates will be available for download each month.
In that way, several girls with worthy records may be
recognized during the year...however ONLY ONE can
receive the Service Area Award presented at the
Recognition Ceremony.
|
 |
 |
Parent of the
Year |
Choose only
one parent to be recognized at the SA Ceremony.
You can, of course and should, have an End-of the Year
Court of Awards Ceremony at the troop level. At
the troop ceremony, it would be appropriate to recognize
the other parents.
|
 |
 |
Community
Service
Outstanding Troop
Leader of the Year
Volunteer of the Year |
Awards are
based upon the information you write on your Troop
Activity Sheet (the buff colored sheet that you fill out
at each SA meeting).
Please keep these current...if you don't let us know
what you are doing...we cannot recognize your efforts.
|
 |
 |
Religious
Recognitions
Bronze Awards
Silver Awards
Gold Awards
|
These awards
will be
acknowledged at this ceremony...but it is highly
likely that you will want to make the presentation of
these awards at another ceremony (a religious ceremony
at church or the council sponsored award ceremony).
However, if you wish to present the award at this
ceremony...that will be fine... The Bronze Award would
be especially appropriate to award here, since there is
no Council-wide ceremony at which to present the award. |
