The following facilities have been approved by the GSSGC as of October 31, 2007.
Horseback Riding Approval form must be submitted to the Program Department
at least two weeks prior to scheduled event.  
Please note that upon lapse of current proof of insurance, a site will be unauthorized
until current insurance is received. 
Sites can be removed from this list at any time in the event of changes to
insurances, facility, or ownership.

  - have signed
Permission slip & Girl Health history card for all participants with you at event

Exhibits depicting the history

UCR Botanic Gardens
On the campus of the University 
of California, Riverside, the 
39 acres of garden offers
hiking trails, informative garden plaques,and huge variety of plants. 
 
Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. 
Main trails are wheelchair accessible.
Admission is free / donations accepted
Parking in the lot immediately outside the Botanic Gardens is free.
Parking away from the entrance to the Garden requires a day permit.

Groups of 12 or more scouts may schedule a workshop on specific days/times or join the museum for a regularly scheduled event.
Workshops generally last two hours and meet all or most of the requirements for at least one Junior level badge or Brownie level try-it.
