All Girl
Scouts are part of the national organization, Girl
Scouts, USA. Across the country, we are divided into local councils. Our council, Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council, serves all of Riverside county and San Bernardino county. Our council is divided into twenty (20) Service Areas. We are the River Crossings Service Area. We serve girls in the Riverside, Jurupa, Mira Loma, and Pedley areas. Any troop forming in these areas becomes part of our Service Area. If your daughter attends one of the schools listed below and she is interested in joining Girl Scouts, please contact our membership specialist at council, Susan Peters. Make sure that she understands which school your daughter attends and that you are in the River Crossings Service Area. If there are no troops at your daughter's school...that is because no one has stepped up to lead the girls. The troops are run totally on volunteer power! It is not hard to be a leader... If you are interested in becoming a leader in our Service Area please contact our Service Area Manager. |
