Girl Scouts of River Crossings Service Area


Who can be a Girl Scout?
 

Any girl between the ages of 5 and 17 years old or in pre-kindergarten through the twelfth grade can become a Girl Scout in the United States.  Girls participate in troops that are appropriate to their age level.

 Program Levels*
 

Daisy
Girl Scouts
Ages 5 - 6
or
Grades K - 1

 

Brownie
Girl Scouts
Ages 6 - 8
or
Grades 1 - 3

 

Junior
Girl Scouts
Ages 8 - 11
or
Grades 3 - 6

 

Cadette
Girl Scouts
Ages 11 - 14
or
Grades 6 - 9

 

Senior
Girl Scouts
Ages 14 - 17
or
Grades 9 - 12

 

 

 

 

 

Studio 2B
A program open to girls from 11 to 17.
Girls can simultaneously participate in the
traditional program & the Studio 2B program.
 


Campus Girl Scouts
Open to girls enrolled in college, junior college, university, or vocational or technical school.
